The initial curved cast aluminum pole will extend your solar wall mount light 17.5" from the wall, which will clear most fascias nicely. If you need additional space between the wall and the solar wall light fixture, whether its to reach the sun better or add to the appearance of the installation as shown in the pictures above and video below, you can use the 23" cast aluminum extension pole to push the light fixture out 40.5" from the wall.

Morphed Solar Panel Technology:

The Plaza wall mount solar light incorporates Gama Sonic's morphed solar panel technology. Take a close look at the curved portion of the light fixture, and you will notice the solar panels and the light sensors go all the way around the fixture, without the normal boxed and specifically sized solar panel that limited the amount of power the solar panels could pull in from the sun.

By bending solar cells to fit curved surfaces, the light fixture morphs into a solar panel and creates a larger surface area to harness power from the sun. Thus, allowing more solar panels to fit onto the light fixture, resulting in a longer battery duration and brighter light.
